Club Dance – How to make a Drum ‘n’ Bass tune

Jungle and Drum ‘n’ Bass are styles of club dance which are characterised by their use of highly edited breakbeats played at fast tempos. Producers would take a sample of a breakbeat and copy it several times, editing its start point so that it began playing on different beats of the bar. This meant that the original drum pattern could be offset creating complex syncopations.
